About Us

Jody’s love of horses goes back to her childhood when she literally rode before she could walk, and over her lifetime has clocked thousands of hours in the saddle. She vividly remembers how each summer a neighboring pony farm would lend her an unbroken pony for the summer and she would return to them a well-ridden, trained mount. Although her methods have been honed by years of experience the passion for the animals is still evident.

In 2005 Liz Lippert joined the Performance Warmbloods team. She began her equine career in a colt training facility and moved to our farm to pursue her interest in jumping and dressage. Her admiration and respect for the power and ability of American Warmbloods is ever growing and expanding as she brings the youngsters along in their training. In 2007, after two intense years of instruction in dressage and jumping, Liz and Romulus made their debut in the dressage ring, successfully scoring 67 and above! She and "Tosca" (Shes Copper Queen xx) cleaned up at their jumper competitions.  In 2008, Liz and Barleone will share their mutual love of jumping in competitions across the state and Liz will continue to compete in the dressage arena with Romulus.
